Originally one of 8 cotton mills, this mill was Atlas Mill #6, and was constructed in 1887 for cotton spinning by John Musgrave and Sons. It last produced cotton in 1964, 77 years after opening. Since then it has had many owners, with the previous owners being a plastic manufacturer. 

 

Now managed by Atlas Studios LTD, this 2nd floor venue offers the unique opportunity for photographers, film and TV companies and movie makers to access three very different rooms within one superb location. Along with a host of organic industrial backdrops which seem to transform themselves naturally with every turn of your head Atlas Studios offers many amazing creativeopporunities.

 

Atlas Studios aspires to be the 'go to' studio location for amateur photographers, production companies and commercial photographers.

 

You will not find a studio that can offer such a diverse range of organic industrial backdrops, and when you add to this the other excellent facilites we can provide: Male and female toilets, a kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities, a shower, heated green room and a large range of props, we can't think of a reason why you would choose to use any other location for your shoot or video..
